A guide to squirrel taxidermy, using the wrapped-body method. In this technique, the skin is not tanned, but instead mounted directly onto a form made from the original skull and batting wrapped in twine. Today’s modern forms are usually made from cast foam instead and features a tanned pelt, which lasts longer.
